Introduction

“Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.”
St. Catherine of Siena

Thank you all for your generosity of heart as you welcomed me with open arms to your parish community. As, I transition into this new role, I ask for your continued prayers and support. I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you.

I was raised in Palm Coast, FL in a household of four children, thee boys and one girl. My mother and father were gifted with two sets of twins, my brother and I are the eldest. We were raised to go to church every Sunday and to participate in the liturgical life of the parish. I was an alter server and transitioned when I was older to extraordinary minister of Holy Communion. After high school, I became even more active in the parish community as I would help with both the middle and high school youth groups as well as teach a class for faith formation. My desire to serve the Lord grew as I started to spend a great deal of my time at the Church.

I entered the seminary in 2008 following the guidance of the Holy Spirit and was ordained a priest in May of 2016. I desire to be a humble servant of the Church and yearn to continue to grow in holiness. I look forward to getting to know you and how I can serve you as your shepherd. I desire not only to smell like my sheep but to know, love, and support you. Please continue to pray for me and I pray every day for you.

Yours in Christ,

Fr. Philip
